In the video, you can see the all-new low infeed, Solidtec box palletizer. The setup demonstrates a compact and efficient way of automating box palletizing.
How it works
The boxes are fed into the system via a conveyor equipped with a box turner. This box turner positions the boxes according to the selected pallet pattern and the boxes are transferred to the lift. Once a row is complete this row will be lifted to the correct stacking height and pushed onto a transfer plate. When a full layer is complete, it is transferred to the pallet. The forming collar ensures precise positioning and a compact and stable pallet load. This sequence is repeated until the pallet is fully stacked.
Speed & operation
Despite its compact footprint, this all new box palletizer can achieve a capacity of up to 20 boxes per minute depending on product flow, box dimensions pallet pattern and stacking height. The palletizer is suitable for all common pallet sizes. Pallet stability remains a key consideration; alternating box layer patterns ensure an interlocked pallet structure for maximum stability. Box patterns can be easily configured with the touchscreen controls and modern software.
Flexible configuration
The machine shown is configured as a semi-automatic box palletizer which has no automatic pallet handling, but it will also be available as a fully automatic box palletizer with fully automatic pallet handling. Overall, this system offers a compact footprint and still achieving high capacities and high stacking quality. This combination of affordability, efficiency, and automation makes it an attractive solution for packers looking to automate their box palletizing process.
