Gert-Jan has recently been working on the development of a new quad magazine for the AutoPack HS. In response to increasing demand from larger onion packers for higher autonomy and fewer operator interventions, this updated magazine system provides a direct answer to that requirement.
The key improvement
With the new quad magazine configuration, capacity has been increased from 600 to 1,200 bags. This effectively doubles runtime, allowing the machine to operate for approximately one hour instead of half an hour at a production speed of 20 bags per minute. In addition to the increased magazine capacity, several technical updates have been implemented to improve overall machine speed, stability, and reliability.
Improved performance
Based on internal test results, the AutoPack HS is expected to achieve approximately 10% higher output per hour. Further validation in a full production environment is still to be completed.
Optional upgrade
An automated magazine rack lifting system is available as an optional feature, further reducing manual handling and increasing operational efficiency.
