It is always a difficult choice to determine where we will and will not exhibit. We consider what aligns with our core business, but we also want to drive sales in markets that are newer to us. With so many good options, we try to achieve maximum returns within the marketing budget. Recently this has resulted in our precense at the following exhibitions.
Asia Fruit Logistica
For the second time we were at the Asia Fruit Logistica in Hong Kong, China. We had a beautiful stand, manned by Michiel and Jeroen and together with Wyma and Burg Machinery. The first time we visited this fair was in 2019 and then COVID came and we skipped the 2022 edition in Bangkok. This edition was very well attended, we spoke to people from China, Australia, India, Malaysia, Singapore, Mexico and America.
The Asian market is relatively new to us and we are also trying to gain a stronger foothold. There is a lot of competition, but we are confident that our machines offer the quality and reliability that will win over potential customers. In Asia we mainly focus on small packaging, because the products are more suitable for that and there is more demand for it.
We can speak of a successful exhibition where we have made valuable connections with potential customers and packaging suppliers. We would like to thank everyone who visited us and we are looking forward to the next time we meet.
Potato Europe
This year we were again present at PotatoEurope, this time in Belgium. At our joint stand with Solidtec we presented the M10i D and a Manipulator. It was very warm in the tent on the days of the fair and this was clearly reflected in the turnout. Despite the heat, we still saw and spoke to a number of familiar and new faces. Let’s hope that conditions will be more favorable in the coming years.
