Together with our Indian partner Allround (India) Vegetable Processing Machines, we delivered two new lines to Balaji Wafers Ahmedabad. Gujarat in India in early 2026. The installation consists of two M2 XXL weighers and two SemiPack packaging machines. With this setup, Balaji Wafers will henceforth package its potatoes semi automatically into 50-kilogram PP woven bags.
Automation and efficiency
Where previously a great deal of manual work was required, Balaji Wafers has now taken a significant step towards further automation and efficiency. The new line not only ensures higher processing speed and consistent product quality, but also reduces the physical strain on their employees.
Allround Shake Grader
In addition, an Allround Shake Grader + inspection tables has been added to feed the Manter line. This system is grading the potatoes. Potatoes with a diameter of less than 40 mm are discharged for the production of potato flakes, which are used, among other things, to make mashed potatoes. Potatoes larger than 40 mm are transported to the Manter line, where they are subsequently packed in 50-kilogram PP woven bags. The Allround Shake Grader integrates seamlessly with the Manter line, strengthening our collaboration and ensuring an efficient and fully integrated process.
