At a facility of Merikşa Tarım in Konya, Turkey we delivered a complete carrot packaging line in collaberation with APH Group Turkey. They were responsible for the sales process and will also provide service in the future. Previously everything was packed by hand, but due to growth and the desire to automate the company invested in a packaging line. This allows them to produce more with less staff and is less dependent on hiring staff.
The packaging line
This packaging line was delivered in the first quarter of 2025. It is designed to pack carrots into PE bags from a roll, with weights ranging from 2 to 7 kg. The RSB-P can handle up to 30 bags of 2 kg per minute. The customer expressed their appreciation for the high weighing accuracy of the system. The complete line consists of a M12 Ca multihead weigher, a RSB-P rollstock bagger for poly bags and a Manter checkweigher (retraction model). The M12 Ca is a high capacity weigher, suitable for carrots with a length of 100 mm up to 300 mm. The RSB-P is equipped with a vertical sealer for half-tube PE material and offers an efficient and reliable packaging solution.
