Manter, in collaboration with our dealer Life & Tech, has delivered the first bulk line in South Korea. This installation marks a significant milestone: it’s the first time a South Korean customer has opted for a complete Manter line to efficiently package onions in large quantities.
Packing in 10 to 20 kilo bags
The line is designed to pack onions in 10 to 20 kilogram bags made of durable PP mesh material. The open structure of the mesh bags ensures sufficient ventilation, helping the onions maintain their quality during storage and transport. With Manter’s reliable weighing technology, the customer is assured of consistent and accurate weighing with every cycle.
From manual to automated
With a capacity of 16 bags per minute at 20 kilograms, the line offers the speed needed to efficiently process this customer’s harvest. Where bags were previously filled and closed manually, the automated line now handles the heavy lifting. This significantly reduces reliance on personnel and increases production capacity. Thanks to this efficiency boost, the investment pays for itself quickly.
