We are pleased to announce the successful delivery of a new Manter project to one of the leading German packagers for fresh produce, H.-W. Böhmer Verpackung und Vertrieb GmbH & Co. KG. Böhmer specializes in packaging and distribution services for potatoes and onions and has established itself as one of the key players in the industry.
At the beginning of 2024, Manter installed eight new packaging lines specifically tailored to Böhmer’s packaging needs. These packaging lines are characterized by their versatility and efficiency. The lines are equipped with multifunctional capabilities to handle various bag types and packaging weights. One outstanding feature of these packaging lines is their compact footprint, which allows Böhmer to make the best use of the available space. Every two lines are connected with a central catwalk in front of the weighers. This allows easy access to each weigher and simplifies monitoring, adjustments, and maintenance.
Key to these lines are the Manter M10 weighing machines, which offer precise weighing capabilities from 500 grams to 25 kilograms. Unique about these weighers is the integration of a dual sliding discharge system, which guarantees Böhmer the flexibility to quickly switch between different packaging machines and minimize downtime. Whether it’s raschel bags, clip bags, or vertical form-fill-seal bags (VFFS), the packaging lines can handle it all, enabling Böhmer to efficiently respond to customer demands while maintaining a high level of output.
